- Ted DiBiase and his mystery partner are expected to win the WWE World Tag Team titles tonight at Night Of Champions PPV. Management informed Carlito of their decision and he was angered. Plans were in store Carlito and Santino Marella to become champions several months ago, however those plans have now fallen through.- During tonight's WWE Night Of Champions preview show it was announced that Chris Jericho would not be defending his title. Jack Korpela said, "One championship that won't be defended at Night of Champions is Chris Jericho's Intercontinental Championship.
