The final count of people that attended WrestleMania 24 in Orlando, Florida was 63,100. This made the event more papered than what the company first expected with 11,500 free tickets given away for their show. This event set a record high by giving out 15,000 tickets, and made it the most papered WrestleMania since the year 1992. Even though their was a huge crowd that attended, it still was not the "hot live ticket" that recent outdoor WrestleMania's had experienced. Despite contrary belief, the high sales were not due to the involvement of Floyd Mayweather Jr. since most of the tickets were sold well in advance. It turned out that when Mayweather announced his involvement in WrestleMania ticket sales were slower than many anticipated. The company is interested in having WWE return to Orlando, FL because of the vast local media coverage that was available as if they were hosting the Super Bowl.
