- Shawn Michaels did not attend RAW this past Monday so he could sell the angle with Chris Jericho. His father had open heart surgery recently and Michaels is having eye problems. It is unknown if he is receiving treatment while he is absent from wrestling.- On a related note, Shawn Michaels is Bryan Danielson's golden ticket into WWE. The two were backstage talking and it is unclear of how close the two are. Danielson train at Michaels' gym and he has enough pull backstage to where he could put in a good word for Danielson to be hired.
