Do you get the feeling that watching pro wrestling this summer isn’t really worth the time anymore? Do you get the feeling that Sheamus will win the title at the next PPV? Do you get the feeling that even though Batista is gone from the WWE he will return before the end of the year? Do you get the feeling that the WWE is having a real hard time making stars out of these new guys and don’t have a clue what they will do when a lot of the veterans retire? Now that I have finished asking these “Do you get the feeling” questions, what do you get the feeling about? I would really like to know.

Undertaker is out once again with some nasty injuries because of a Rey Mysterio accident at a House show. The question I have is who will take his place? Can anyone on the Smackdown roster really rise above what we have come to enjoy so much about the Undertaker? If I were writing the storyline, I would start Christian on a path to more than just mid-card status. He has the mic skills and the in ring talent to rise above any of the superstars on the show. He needs to be taken seriously by the writers. He has what it takes to be a champion (and not just the previous ECW Champion.) It’s a shame that he won’t be able to partake in the Fatal 4-way on June 20th and take that next step to superstardom. My guess is that Jack Swagger will win the match, I just don’t see Big Show getting it and the feud between Mysterio and Punk has taken a different path now that Punk is under a mask. So the likely outcome is a Swagger win. What better chance than this to bring Christian into the limelight and to interfere in the match. But what do I know?

As I had commented at the beginning of this article it is my very strong opinion that Sheamus will win this match. Orton’s shoulder isn’t the strongest right now and needs time to heal, Cena is nursing nagging injuries, Edge doesn’t seem himself just yet, so the rightful winner of the match should be Sheamus. I may not like him all that much, but as far as the only real healthy guy in the match, the right choice would be Sheamus. Besides, if he wins, I’m sure it will bring back HHH more sooner than later.

It was great to see on Raw last week Evan Bourne finally get his chance to win in the squared circle. This guy has the skill and talent of Rey Mysterio. I will be the first to admit that he does need work on his mic skills, but the stuff he does in the middle of that ring is just phenomenal. I’m hoping they keep giving him these chances so that he can excel his career as a high flyer.

The WWE also did another good thing when they put the I-C title around Kofi Kingston’s waist. I didn’t really care for McIntyre as the champ. It goes without saying that Matt Hardy will become a part of this title picture after Smackdown’s show this past Friday. Things are looking up for the Intercontinental Title.

So Wade Barrett is the first ever Undisputed NXT Champion…..has to be because of Jericho’s influence. He is a well respected wrestler and has put on some amazing matches in his years as a pro. Maybe it will become a Jer-Ett or Bari-cho Tag Team down the line seeing as how the WWE doesn’t want Jericho to be the World Heavyweight Champion.

I would have to say having Bret Hart being the Raw General Manager right now is a pretty good idea. Seeing as how it is too risky for him to be in the ring wrestling, having him around as a figure head is the next best choice. I still like the guy and it’s pretty obvious most of the fans like having him around as well. I don’t necessarily like the idea that the “Mr. McMahon” character is back in action, but you had to figure Vince’s ego doesn’t allow him to be out of the limelight very long. Besides it does make for good interaction between Bret and himself.

Come Monday night, the guest host(s) are the guys from the upcoming A-Team movie. I feel the only one that might get physically involved in something in the ring will be Rampage Jackson with the other guys just kinda “backing” him up. Will this entice me to want to watch the show? Only time will tell….

That’s my 3 cents worth, til next time……
