Scott Hall is at it again. Being arrested for public intoxication and I am sure other offenses will be listed. This man is a train wreck. Sure we like him as a pro wrestler, but he has a problem and he needs to get help for it. Until he realizes that he has a problem this will be an ongoing thing with him. He sure has a temper by what the report says as well. I wouldn’t want to get on his bad side, that’s for sure. But the truth remains, he needs to straigten up and fly right. I wonder what this will do to to his career in the TNA. Will we see him on the shows? If so this just tells me that TNA is desperate and don’t want to deal with the problem that is Scott Hall. Idiot!!

With Beth Phoenix out of the picture for at least 6 months, it goes without saying that the WWE is in need of a decent female champion wrestler, oh wait, that’s not gonna happen. With Mickie James gone and Trish Stratus retired from the sport and Lita doing her own thing, the propects of this happening are few and far between. This division is just like the tag team division, a complete and utter joke.

So lets see, Bret Hart is the new United States Champion….did I just go back in time here?? What is the sense of having him be this? I don’t get it. We all know he has limited abilities in the ring now. My opinion is he should “retire” with the belt setting up a tournament for it for the next few weeks.

The only thing that I absolutely love is the fact that Virgil is back and Ted, Jr. has the Million Dollar belt. It feels as if I have traveled back in time to see someone able to put on a fantastic match and make us hate him all in one bundle. Junior is moving up the ranks and I couldn’t be happier. Him going against R-Truth is just a stepping stone to better matches in the coming months ahead. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in the Heavyweight title run before the end of the summer. It’s good to see they broke him and Rhodes up and going their separate ways, the team was only holding Dibiase down. Now with his new found single’s opportunity, he should be showing us fans that he is his father’s son. (can’t believe I am actually commending WWE on something that they are doing right for once.)

What do fans think of this NXT on SyFy?? Is it a good idea or not? Pros being teamed up with the rookies of the sport. Hey if it will get us the next Stone Cold or Rock, I’m all for it. Is it even possible to have these young guys become someone like the Rock or Stone Cold? Well, really no. But there is always a chance that something good will become of this show and the next big thing could come along. For this to happen though, I think the WWE needs to get rid of the PG rating. The Attitude Era was probably the best idea the federation had in years and it was the most successful, maybe we’ll get it in some form or another soon, yeah right and Furry Vengeance was a success at the box office.

I recall a reader of mine saying (some time ago that is) Carlito would be the next big thing…hahahahaha, I never saw him as such and now he has been released because of a wellness policy violation and refusing to go to treatment. Oh well, he was getting to be a pain in recent months anyway. Bye, bye Carlito I won’t miss you.

Now for my predictions on this Sunday’s Over the Limit PPV...will I watch?? Hmmmm lets see, Lost’s Series Finale is on at the same time, so you tell me, anyways here we go…..

WWE Champion John Cena vs. Batista-If the rumors are true and he is set to leave at the end of his contract, Batista will lose this match, if not then he will get the title and Cena will be gone for the summer (he has some nagging injuries to take care of). It won’t be the match of the night (I reserve that right to the Orton/Edge match) and really, I could careless about seeing this one again.

World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger vs. Big Show-It’s too soon to have Jack lose the title, so unfortunately Big Show won’t walk away with the belt. Maybe they will set it up as Jack dominating Show and help us fans to realize that Jack deserves the title. It won’t be the best match of the night, that’s for certain. But you deal with what you have. I would have liked a Jericho vs. Big Show match myself, but what do I know?

Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Kofi Kingston-I would love to see Kingston win this one. He’s really impressed me in the past many months and when I thought his feud with Orton
was going to go somewhere, WWE buries him and takes him out of the limelight. So it would be great to see the title around his waist again.

Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk-Rey having to pledge to the Straight Edge Society would be a lot better to see over the course of the summer then to have Punk lose his hair. I think it would be a better story if Rey was part of the Society for a couple months and his turmoil of dealing with it then seeing a bald Punk. Punk is great as a heel and it would be a shame to have him lose the Society. So there you have it, Punk for the win.

Randy Orton vs. Edge-This one is way too close to call. It will be a damn good one though.

Unified Tag Champs Hart Dynasty vs. Chris Jericho and the Miz-It’s a travesty to see Jericho have to wrestle in tag team matches instead of the Heavyweight division. But you take the bitter with the sweet. I imagine they have him in this so it helps to sweeten the tag team division up a bit. I see Bret getting involved in this so the Hart Dynasty could just squeak out a win. But really with having Jericho win, it helps me to watch the tag team division more. So you tell me who should win this one. Will the WWE see it how I do? I hope so.

Divas Champion Eve vs. Maryse- Don’t care about the outcome of the match, lets move on..

R-Truth vs. Ted Dibiase-I don’t think I really have to say much about this match except Dibiase will win it. If the WWE wants to make him the next Randy Orton he needs to win this one.

If there were wise decisions to be made to the fans out there, you would TiVo this PPV and watch the finale of Lost. Heck, Lost is free and I’m willing to bet it will be better viewing than this PPV that isn’t even necessary. I’ve said it once and I will say it again, they need to lessen the amount of PPV’s they are putting on. Go every other month that way the storylines won’t be rushed and can build up the tension between the wrestlers, it worked many years ago, I think they need to try it again. But again, that is only this man’s opinion.

That’s my 3 cents worth, til next time……
