BREAKING NEWS: The instability of U.S and foreign markets has caused TNA Wrestling to no longer be a viable product. The company is losing money, as of ten o'clock today, more than one third of the TNA roster must be let go. In startling news, Hulk Hogan was attacked by Abyss, a supposed attempt to ensure his place on the roster. Scott Hall has turned on Kevin Nash. Again. Ric Flair has turned on A.J. Styles. Hulk Hogan stated earlier on Impact that it was every man for himself. Who is the real “Nature Boy”? Leaked memos claiming that TNA needs the Nature Boy, has caused A.J. Styles to pronounce himself the real McCoy. Rumors of a Styles/Flair match are rampant. Dixie Carter came out to the Impact Zone and made the following statement: “We do not know who is going. We know we must cut thirty wrestlers do to economic concerns. This crises was predicted and foreshortened by the move back to Thursdays; but certain economic developments have caused us the re-think our strategy.” Hulk Hogan was seen with Ric Flair. Hogan said he could bury the hatchet--that neither of them could afford to lose their jobs; and with his divorce and Flair's losses in the stock market--it must be done, and to hell with the rest of the talent. They are believed to be on the lookout for you studs--fattening their new and growing stable. Jeff Jarrett was also spotted backstage at Impact. He was seen entering the office of Dixie Carter. Dixie Carter was seen packing boxes, removing items from her desk. Crews were seen taking down some of the more elaborate set pieces at ringside. Rumor has it that certain crew members were fighting amongst themselves--that they were auctioning the pieces off to guest at Universal Studios. The matches have taken a much darker turn. All the gimmicks have faded in light of the crises. All any wrestler says in a promo is that he is scared and is fighting for his livelihood. Several wrestlers have brought in their families to try for an emotional appeal. Several wrestlers have been seen begging Dixie Carter and other top level officials. Several Knockouts have made allusions to sexual favors. Eric Bischoff is so far unavailable for comment. Vince Russo has gone missing. BULL UTTER BULL. But it got you interested, huh? If TNA wants to revolutionize wrestling, then let em go for it. It is as simple as that: thinking outside the box: starting fresh. Drop the gimmicks, go to an NWO style storyline, but not with the same old talent. Have the wrestlers turning on one another; and for seemingly plausible reasons. Bring in outside people to make it more believable. Send the wrestlers out on the talk show circuit. How cool would it be to see a realistic and gritty wrestling show? Have wrestlers making fake calls to Vince McMahon, begging Vince for work. Imagine the feel of the new TNA. Let's have a real revolution in sports entertainment. No gimmicks, no bull. Just wrestlers fighting for their careers. No more same old same old. And after this, nothing will be the same. Guaranteed. And after the thirty are fired, guess what? They start Sopranos style wheeling and dealing, worming their way back in, as other wrestlers get let go. Politics. I like to call this Clean Slate Theory. It's very Aristotelian. Would you Watch it?
