I will add a comment or two on the other matches from the PPV, but really words are best left unsaid on most of them. As I have said about the majority of these PPV’s, the federation needs to reduce the number of them through the course of year. That would only make sense to increase ratings for both Raw and Smackdown.

Shad and JTG, what a total waste of time to have witnessed this crap of a match. These two belong together as Cryme Tyme, not as single wrestlers. The crowd reaction alone should give it away. But what do I know?

HHH vs Sheamus wasn’t a surprise to me. Sheamus needed the win to further his climb up to the mid card status. Oh, did you actually think he would go to main event status? Now that is a laugh. Pairing him up with HHH will not help even him.

Showmiz and the travesty of the entire episode….the only good thing to have come out of it is the Hart Dynasty will get a title match on Raw. This division is a joke, I will always say this about what Vince has done to it. They had a good division at one time, but seeing as how I can’t go back in time to enjoy it, I will just have to go to youtube and relive the glory days of this once fine division. ICK!!!

Rey vs. Punk, no surprise that Punk would pull off the win here. If he would have lost, it wouldn’t have made sense. Can you bet that another match will be made between the two at another PPV? Just you wait.

Jack Swagger going against Randy Orton- With Orton losing, this is probably setting him up to move to Smackdown in the draft that will commence on Monday night at Raw. It wasn’t too bad of a match. Comparing it to the rest of the card, it was one of the better ones for the night.

The Edge and Jericho match was the winner of the night for the best match. With the classic spear by Edge to win the match, and everything else in between, it was without a doubt a classic. The WWE should have put this one as the last match of the night. But because Cena is their go to guy, it didn’t happen. I have always loved Edge and Jericho doesn’t seem to give us fans any bad matches. Kudos to the both of these fine athletes.

Women’s Championship match with Beth Phoenix and Michelle McCool: Lets see brooms, irons, ironing boards, hairspray, buckets….really? The only good thing that happened was the match ended and Beth is the new champ.

This PPV called Extreme Rules could have been a Monday Night Raw show and many people would have watched it. But instead the Powers That Be made it a PPV that people had to pay for to see it. Ugh….they wonder why the ratings are in the crapper and the numbers to PPV’s aren’t that great either. Things need to change, that’s the bottom line.

The Draft is tonight on Raw, will there be any surprises? Doubt it. To me the WWE should just let the wrestlers go back and forth among the different shows and keep it like that for the year. Why not, the talents are going back and forth between them right now, so why not just make it official. Raw vs. Smackdown for the year or longer. If it’s ratings they are looking for, that should help until something better comes along. They also need to get rid of the Guest Host idea, it’s tiring and it's old, I believe it’s time to move on from it. Please I beg you to move on!!
