Welcome to another installment of O & A.

Lets start off with WWE this week. Well, of course it was a lackluster show, since we didn't see hardly any of the Raw Roster on the show. I wonder with HHH being one of the main stars on Raw why wasn't he on the tour with the rest of the Raw roster??? Using his "pull" I guess.

Anyways, with the regulars from Raw stuck overseas, the Smackdown crew pulled double duty this past week. In my opinion they filled in very well, not up to the usual raw standards, but it actually gave me a reason to WANT to tune in to see what they came up to keep the show entertaining. With what little time the writers had to work with, it was decent.

Of course the downside to all of this was the missed opportunity to finish the build for some of the Extreme Rules matches from Raw. The gained opportunity was Smackdown getting the extra show to promote their matches for this Sunday.

HHH vs. Sheamus in a Street Fight, or as I like to call it the "sledgehammer vs. the lead pipe", cause we all know those two weapons will be used.

Cena Vs. Batista "YAWN" in a Last Man Standing match "YAWN". I really hope they don't use this one to end the show, but i'm sure they will because, lets face it, it's a helluva lot more intriguing than Orton vs. Swagger.

Speaking of Orton vs. Swagger, I would'nt be suprised to see Orton win this one, just so he can be drafted to Smackdown or winner of Batista vs. Cena gets drafted to smackdown. I just really don't like Swagger, sorry to those who do, but I just don't believe him as a Main Eventer let alone a WWE or World Champion.

Punk Vs. Mysterio, it's my understanding that if Punk wins he gets nothing but a W, and Mysterio wins Punk gets shaved. Well, last match up between the two, Mysterio had it all on the line and Punk had nothing to lose and Mysterio won the match. So using that formula, i'm gonna say Punk wins this time around, and keeps his hair. By the way how funny would Punk look with a bald head and that bushy lookin beard. Good stuff.

Ok, so on to what bothers me about WWE's Extreme Rules PPV. I'm one of those that believe every title should be on the line at each and every PPV and not on the televised events. Now look at the Extreme Rules PPV card. The Intercontinental Title, U.S. Title, and Tag Team titles are not being defended on this PPV. I guess it just goes to show how important those belts are to the WWE.

Ok, now on to TNA!!

I don't really care what the ratings say, but this past Monday are the types of shows TNA needs to put out each and every week. That was a PPV worthy show. You take Jeff Hardy vs. RVD and and that could headline a PPV, then you got RVD vs. A.J. Styles!!!! Are you kidding me? In one episode of Impact I got at least 3 PPV quality matches, albeit a bit short for a PPV, but the quality they were and the people who were in them made them PPV matches.

Return of Somoa Joe, well Joe, Welcome back. Uh, um, oh, and ah, by the way care to explain where you been? OH thats right he was "abducted". The guy who came in and basically beat up 4 guys by himself, got abducted. Whew, glad that made sense.

Ok, so whos excited to see 103 yr old Ric Flair vs. The Monster Abyss??? Noone? Anyone? Yes, you little boy in the back I see you with your hand up. Thanks for being nice to Mr.Flair. I'm sorry but Ric it's time to let go my man.

Matt Morgan and the TNA tag belts, ok enough is enough already lets get to these tag teams that TNA has on the roster. You got Beer Money, Motor City Machine Guns, who are REAL tag teams and are more than capable of handling the duties for carrying those straps, lets put em on the line.

X division title. A little bit of controversy over this one at the PPV as the Champ (former) Doug Williams was stuck in England because of the Volcano, so TNA strips him of the belt and add Homicide to the match. Did he deserve to be stripped?? Probably not, but I think he was gonna lose it in that match anyways, so doesn't really matter.

Team Flair Vs. Team Hogan. Well, I certainly didn't see the Bischoff/Hogan/Flair angle playing out the way it did. In all honesty I expected that to play out the exact opposite of how it did. With Bischoff pretending to help Hulk only to double cross him. But at the same time lets not forget this is Flair and Bischoff we are talking about here, so that could still happen. I'm not 100% sure that the Bischoff/Hogan power struggle is over quite yet.

Ok, so honestly TNA put on a helluva lot better show than the WWE this week. Forget the ratings, and polls, and blah blah blah. Just judge it for youself. Yeah, I know they didn't really beat Raw in any case, cause it was the Smackdown crew. I don't care what the reasoning was, to me, I enjoyed Impact alot more than Raw this week. If TNA keeps that kind of stuff up they can do very well.

Ok, one last thing about Monday's Impact. Why when RVD won the match did red and yellow confetti fly? I though RVD won not Hogan. Why was there a big deal made of it? Why did Dixie Carter and Hulk Hogan come to the ring and congratulate him? Nothing about after that match was over made sense.

Ok, so there's no Questions this week, bummer. So gets those thinking caps on and ask some questions guys/gals. Thanks for reading.

Til Next Time....................
