So Orton is champion once again and without the help of Legacy no less. It isn’t a bad idea to give him the title, the bad idea that comes into this picture is another match against John Cena. Now at the next PPV-“Bragging Rights” it will be an Iron Man Match between the two for a whole hour. Will I be able to stand watching them for the entire 60 minutes? Not a chance in Hades. If Cena loses at the PPV, oh well, C'est la vie.(that’s life). Then with Cena leaving Raw they would probably have him feud with Batista (after he turns heel and beats the Undertaker for the title). It goes without saying that Orton needs a different person to go against and believe it or not that person should be Ted Dibiase, Jr. The WWE creative team is still giving us Legacy which isn’t much of a legacy at all anyways. So why not split them up? They haven’t really been a force to be reckoned with in the federation as I thought they would turn out to be (like Evolution was). It’s time to switch things up for the rest of the year. It’s looking as if DX and Jeri-Show will be feuding with one another for awhile. I’m at least happy that Jeri-Show are still the tag team champions. I’ve always liked Jericho’s in ring style and his promos are always great. The Big Show, well, he’s big and where he lacks, Jericho picks up the slack. In regards to DX, I thought they lost their flare years ago, but creative is still putting them on the ticket. My fear is with DX coming into the picture in this division, they will beat Jeri-Show for the Unified titles and have them for quite sometime, ugh, I sure hope not. Of course the tag team division in the WWE hasn’t been up to par for years, so creative had to do something and putting DX in the running was one of those necessary evils-no matter how bad of an idea I believe it to be. DX still apparently puts butts in the seats, so like it or not, we will be seeing them for the foreseeable future. It surprised me that the Miz finally got his first ever singles title. The unfortunate thing about this is, he won’t keep it for long. Did you notice how dead the crowd was during and after the match? No one even reacted to Kofi losing the US title either. So unless they come up with something really eye catching to keep the belt on the Miz, his time as champion is going to be limited. I would like to see him have a nice long title reign, but I highly doubt this will happen. The Undertaker beat CM Punk at the PPV. I didn’t think they were going to put the title on Undertaker because of him not being completely healed from nagging injuries over the years. Hell, with his age, I doubt he will ever be back to normal ever again. The rumors of why Punk lost are as follows- it was an issue with how he was dressed and Undertaker trying to tell him that he was representing WWE overseas as World Champion so he should dress better. Punk “supposedly” said something to the effect of “what about John Cena?” This got back to management and they took it as Punk thinking he was a bigger star than Cena. The decision was made to take the belt off Punk at Hell in a Cell. Now I remind you this is just a rumor right now, but it sure sounds like something corporate would do. So much for a long title reign for CM Punk. You would think with how long Undertaker has been in the business it would be a good idea for Punk to listen to the man. But instead he just shrugged it off and didn’t take the advice from the seasoned veteran. Stupid!!! I bet if Punk had heeded Undertaker’s advice the belt would still be around his waist. Watch in the coming weeks for Punk to be buried and for Batista to come into the spotlight for the title run and to win against Undertaker (that’s just my opinion) setting up for a possible Cena return to Smackdown. I wonder if anyone noticed that the ECW wasn’t represented at the Hell in a Cell PPV. You would think that Christian would have been put on the card against just about anyone instead of the R-Truth vs. McIntyre match. WWE creative is one bunch of fellas I will never understand. The one idea of having a new host for every Raw has been very beneficial for the WWE. They are getting a lot of exposure on mainstream media and as long as they keep having some fairly decent hosts for the show, it will only help their ratings (for the most part). Course it doesn’t help that Monday Night Football is on during this time of year either, I know that’s what I was doing last night when the Vikes stomped the Packers. Way to go Favre!!!! That’s my 3 cents worth, til next time……..
